Christian Partners Development Agency (CPDA) is a non profit, non partisan, organization registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under the NGO coordination act (1990) in 1993. CPDA was started as a relief organization during the 1985 drought that led to widespread famine in the whole of Kenya, but later changed its focus to developmental activities. Since then, CPDA has experienced both growth and development in quantitative and qualitative terms on its activities and human capital investments. Currently CPDAs programmes are coordinated from the Head Office in Nairobi, with field offices in three core project areas; Vihiga District in Western Province, Makueni District in Eastern province, Narok District in Rift Valley Province and Westlands district in Nairobi Province. Mission Statement: Our mission is to uplift the living standards of the poor and disadvantaged communities in Kenya and beyond through partnership, capacity building and development programs that empower them to respond more effectively to their needs. Vision: a world in which communities are empowered to take charge of their own development and destiny.
